Home Is Where The Internet Is
First, I need to scan - no joke - some 900 e-mails. And, wash nine days of RV stink from my body, and try to get the last grains of sand out of various Wonderbaby crevices.
In the meantime: WHAT'D I MISS???
Nine days of NO internet, no newspapers, no television, and did I say NO INTERNET? I can't possibly catch up, so, you know, if you could maybe lend a girl a hand and fill me in? Maybe leave a link or two in the comments to posts that I should catch? (Yes, you can leave your own, or somebody else's, or whatever - just tell me what to read - I can't bear to open Bloglines or Google Reader, lest these cause my laptop to give up and die and/or my brain to explode. HELP.)

Welcome home! I felt just the same as you - if you read blogrhet, you'll see why :)
i gave you an award for being nice in this post. but then sandra wrote about it and made me feel all bad because apparently "nice" is a boring adjective. so instead, let's assume i meant "kick ass, but in a really sweet way so that she makes everyone feel warm and fuzzy inside."
yeah, where's an award for that?
Nothing at my place for sure. But here's a few good links.
I'm going to try to link it, we'll see if it works. I apologize if it doesn't work.
It's been a bit slow, so give it a few days and I'm sure you'll catch up. Glad you're back, although the peeps you left behind did a great job. You may be out of booze though.
Welcome home. The neighborhood isn't the same without you.
There a wee something for you over at my place. Once you trudge through the one million posts waiting for you in Bloglines. ;)
Welcome back! Take your time and make sure you knock back a shot or two before going through all of the great posts and comments made on your blog during your "vacation". You may want to check your jewelry box and make sure all of your gems are properly accounted for! LOL!

we missed you, sister. but your house was well cared for in your absence.
I've got some Burning Man and toddler transgender discussions over my way, maybe a homeless deal or two too (gotta keep it real)
Welcome back! You've been missed 'round these here parts!
I'm sure you've already heard, but the BIG news?

Welcome back and beware of senators tapping you on the foot in the restroom!
Do what I do and just read the Hollywood gossip and to get all caught up with the real news.
As for the real REAL news, all is well in blogeritaville. b*babbler beat me to it - the baby was born and all is well.
I can't wait to hear the stories.
Well, let's see. Jenn's (Serving the Queens) scare was just a scare -- her lump was benign. That's news!
And...many bloggers I read are desperate for their kids to go back to school or are breathing a sigh of relief because their kids are already back in school. There's a lot of talk (writing) about school/preschool/daycare.
Welcome back.
I agree with SM, mostly those of us with school age kids who are all my baby is going to school or I can't wait 'till the kids are in school they're driving me crazy! Kinda slow, although I did enjoy the Notes from the Trenches thing which I had stumbled across earlier.
And I wanted to pass you the Nice Matters thing, too, but you were already recognized.
Welcome back!
Sounds like you had a gas!
Nothing truly unusual chez crazymumma. Still moody. My Personal Trainer is getting married. But I'm ok with that.
really.
can hardly wait to hear more about your holiday...
welcome home! hope it was a wonderful family trip, can't wait to read all about it!
Great to have you back! Welcome home!
welcome back :)
you know that little button in the Google Reader that says "mark all as read"? yeah... there's a twinge of guilt when you use it, but after so long gone, there is just a bit of a rush too. every now and then, when the sand in the crevices is more important than the laptop, it's just so worth it.
My head is spinning Linda Blair style at the thought of no internet.
Hope you had a nice trip, RV stink and all!

Thank God you're back. I was having withdrawal. Not that the blog sitters were bad, mind you. Just that nothing compares to HBM!
Nine days! Congrats! It does us good to unplug. I am no help on which posts to catch, since I am hopelessly in love with most of the blogs I read, so you probably don't want my "short" list - which isn't very short at all. Welcome back.
Welcome home!
Over at my place we're discussing how funny my NICU experience was with my preemie.
What neonatal intensive care units aren't hilarious?!
Glad you're back :-)
Welcome Home! Glad you returned safely, and hopefully had a good time. Just waiting to hear your stories...
You only missed one dang thing: a tour of my house, videoblogged by me, while into "Mommy's Juice Box."
And no, I don't normally drink wine from a box, but it was ON SALE AT LOBLAWS!
Welcome back lady!
Didn't miss much from me...just the story about how Dave showed his mom and stepfather how his new Digital Video Recorder worked and a steamy, action-packed porno popping up on the screen.
Welcome home!
Welcome back, lady. You were missed.
and, um, i think I forgot to water your plants.

9 days.. How'd you do it:) haha
Welcome back! I'd never have made it nine days. They would have found me begging wireless at Starbucks.
Loved the blog-sitters and all, but we missed YOU! Welcome back.
I concur - the blog-sitters were great, but nothing compares to HBM. Glad you're back and can't wait to hear 9 days in an RV, HBM-style!
With great difficulty!
Can't wait to hear how it went as we'll be doing an RV road trip vacation with Myles next June.
Welcome back, babe!
I beat you! 20 days in the rain in England AND no internet.
Cheers
Welcome home! I'm new around here and have been enjoying your blog. Always get a good laugh reading about your adventures. Can't wait to hear all about the trip!
welcome home

Welcome back, kid.
Welcome back! I'm afraid of my google reader if I miss two days, so nine would pretty much blow my mind.
Oh, and I had a baby!

Welcome home! I've been a little scarce around the blogs lately, but I did manage to post an interesting tidbit about Oprah that's making the rounds.
Welcome back! Let's see, what's new? I had a particularly awful, ready-to-quit parenting moment with Cordy last Friday. I'm still getting over it.
That's about it.
while you were gone i won the Nobel prize in literature. really.
Welcome back! I'd suggest checking out Sweet Juniper and Sweetsalty, because they always rock.
Also, if you have any stroller advice, stop by mine.
Welcome back!!! Don't worry about checking anything---keep yourself on vacation time as long as possible.
I deleted my blog, twice. On accident.
It's back now.
I shouldn't be given such responsibility.
Welcome home, good luck getting the syrup smell out of everything.
Your blog was in very good hands while you were gone, but I'm glad you're back! I celebrated my Two Year Blogging Anniversary a few days ago, that's about it.
Don't know if you've been following, but I had one post that was the beginning of the end...

Glad you're back.
my husband just got some device from Rogers (in Toronto) where you plug it into an outlet and voila, wireless! Not sure if this is good or bad that now he (we) can go online from ANYWHERE. Even the car. Too much? Perhaps...
Gaiter - we actually have one of those, which we brought along, but the one time we were in reach of a wireless network the plug wasn't working. Which, you know, sucked.
Awesome move poster, HBM. I'd love to see that flick! :)
Blog Antagonist reposted her Funeral Parts I-V. It's definitely worth a read.
Otherwise, here are a few of my recent favorites.
Welcome back, mama!
On my end, Nate went back to work, got a nanny, freaked out about the nanny, nanny worked out pretty well.
Also there are those late night emails - hope you have gmail or that will be easily 799 of your 900 emails. Feel free to delete.
I say you probably didn't miss a thing. :O
OK,I know -- I went through Internet withdrawl on vacation, too.
Still waiting for PunditGirl to start school! HELP!
WOW!!! YOu lived to tell!
And even tell it well, at that.
