Her Bad Mother

Tiaras are hats, too

Nothing cuts through the gloom quite like a virtual party thrown in your honour - Meghan, Jenn and Jenny of Mommybloggers.com are celebrating all things Bad Mother this week and damn if it doesn't make me feel good. Check out the decidedly non-roasty round of toasts that some of you beautiful people made, and their interview with me, and, later today, a very special Her Bad Mother post.

(And, while you're there, do leave your best wishes for Jenn, who had a health scare this past week.)

And to the reader who wanted the contact info for the Basement: send posts or questions to herbadmother@gmail.com...

ooooeee. that is so nice. i left a comment too--consider it my way of feeling you up online.

hope you are feeling like you are coming out of the gloom. with everything you've been up to lately, it seems understandable that you might need to crash for a while. otherwise you are likely freak-woman with a questional speed habit.

take care, lovey.

After your willingness and courage to dive into the feminism debate, you deserved some sweet love!

Thanks for all you do.

Great interview!

Your comments about how blogging has affected your friendships was interesting. I like having met all these great people on the web, and also do most of my web stuff late at night, when I can't leave the house to see folks anyway. Sometimes, SwingDaddy and I cruise the web side by side, companionably. What a geeky household. We're hopeless.

I just found your blog for the first time...I like reading it because everything just comes out all flowey and stuff. Like one long stream of consciousness. Like how I 'think out loud'. And it's funny and smart, and you're not afraid to admit you don't know all the answers.

Oh...and the picture of your daughter, who must be squealing with glee while wearing her hat!

OMG!I feel like a celeb! You casually mentioned something I posted on Mother May in your interview. I'm swooning right now.

Loved hearing what you had to say girl. You rock it.

It was a really great interview, both the questions and the answers. And I am reminded again by the stunning amount of talent available to me every day, simply by perusing my blogroll.
